Raffi Dyer adds South Region girls'

title to her collection

NEWS RELEASE ISSUED BY ENGLISH WOMEN'S GOLF ASSOCIATION
Hampshire’s Raffi Dyer added another title to her 2009 collection when she won the EWGA South Region girls’ championship at Worplesdon.
The 18-year-old from Hayling was one-under par for the day with rounds of 73 and two-under 70. She was four shots clear of her closest challengers, Emma Carberry of Sussex and Sian Evans of Kent.Raffi and Lauren Davis – who had a top five finish - also won the team shield for Hampshire.
Earlier this season Raffi won the English schools’ championship and has just captained the girls’ team to a win over Wales in the annual schools’ international.
Next month she will again lead out the girls in the match against Scotland. Raffi is also the Hampshire girls’ champion and has won a place in the grand final of the Faldo Series in Brazil.The championship was contested by players from Hampshire, Kent, Middlesex, Surrey and Sussex.
