Life at Post University, USA
is great fun, says Jamie Blake
from Arbroath

Jamie Blake, the Arbroath born-and-bred golfer who is doing well in his third (junior) year at Post University, Westbury, Connecticutt, has been telling Kirkwoodgolf.co.uk what life at college in the United States has been like for him:
"I really like studying and playing in America. My golf game has improved since coming here because the level of competition is high and my coach has high expectations of everyone on the team.
"We have a great program here at Post University. The university is small so the classroom environment is such that the professors know everyone by name. Then you add the best golf program in the north-east (of America) and you can't help but have fun. Coach Stevens always reminds us that we need to be successful both in academics and golf."
"I have matured from this experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in getting a good education and playing NCAA golf.
"So far with the Post University golf program, I have played in tournaments in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, New York, Massachusetts, Delaware and this spring we are playing a tournament in San Diego California - not bad for a small NCAA Division II school."
