LETTER FROM AMERICA
BY CLAIRE HUNTER

Hello Everyone. Time for another update. Well I have just finished
the tournament down in Palm Springs and was very rusty this week. Its
been a while since I have played in a event since Landmark. My game
is there but as I always say "the more competition the better for my
game and confidence"

The place I am staying in this week is awesome. I caddied for a guy
called Mick Humphreys who is part of the Vintage down in Palm Springs
and he offered me to stay at his condo in Palm Springs for the whole
week. This place is in a very safe place and we have a range right
outside the back door which we take advantage of at nights when it is
cool. So this week I can say I am living right!!!

I shot 83, 77, I played better in the second round but I few mishits
with the irons on the front put me alot over for the front nine. No
worries though, I am very confident the more I play the better so the
next tournament starts Monday, I have a practice round tomorrow and
then we begin our three day tournament. Today was very hot and
probably one of the hottest days I have seen here, it was 114.

Anyway Pam and myself are still caddying in Bandon and practicing hard
for the Euorpean Q School which is October 30th.

Anyway Hopefully this week will be much better, I am very excited
about playing in the next event.
I will keep you all updated on my progress next week

Take care
Cheers
Claire
