Midlothian Interclub Tournament 16-18 May

Baberton won the Midlothian Ladies' Interclub tournament in very "dreich" conditions at Broomieknowe, beating Kingsknowe in the final. Baberton's first couple, Fiona de Vries and Karen Marshall, finished two down to Kingsknowe's Rita Dee and Louise Fraser, but their second couple, Pamela Williamson and Fiona Hunter were four up after 17 holes on Sheila Lyon and Kate Rorke, ensuring a final result of 2 & 1. In the semifinals, Kingsknowe beat Merchants and Baberton beat Lothianburn.
