English Home International Team announced

There are two new caps in the England team selected for the Home Internationals at the Berkshire Golf Club in August. Both from Yorkshire, Alex Keighley (Lightcliffe) and Sara Garbutt (Ganton), were respectively 1st and 2nd reserves for England when the team was successful in the Home International matches in Ireland in 2001.

Alex, a member of the 2002 Curtis Cup squad, recently played for the England Lady Juniors Team (Under 21s) in the European Team Championships in Moscow alongside fellow England players Fame More and Sarah Heath. She is the current English Intermediate Champion. Sara has been a member of the Yorkshire team for the past five years and the England Elite 2 squad since 2000. She recently won the 72 hole English Stroke Play Championship at Whittington Heath by two shots.

The Team for the Home Internationals also includes the four members English members of the Great Britain & Ireland Curtis Cup Team - Emma Duggleby, Rebecca Hudson, Fame More and Kerry Smith, plus Kirsty Fisher and Sarah Heath, both members of England's successful 2001 team.

The full team and details of the four non travelling reseves is attached.
